I was really surprised by that as the Revolution Eye Glisten look huge with their double sided design, but 2.2ml really isn’t very much at all per side and the packaging is quite deceptive in making you think you’re getting extra product.
For £6 you get 2.2ml of product per side, so a total of 4.4ml and the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows contain 4.5ml. The Revolution Eye Glisten Foil and Glitter Eyeshadows are available in just five shades, are £6 each and feature a dual ended design with a liquid foil eyeshadow on one end and a liquid glitter eyeshadow on the other. I have many of the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows so I was excited to try the Revolution Eye Glisten Foil and Glitter Eyeshadows just incase they were a dupe for Stila Glitters.
When Revolution showed a preview on Instagram that they were launching liquid glitter eyeshadows, everyone was excited and labelling them as Stila dupes without anyone even trying them. The whole dupe mentality is such a weird one within the beauty community, and it’s normally those who haven’t tried the original product that label the budget alternative as being a dupe. It used to be that there’d be a new launch every Wednesday, but it’s now multiple times a week and hard to keep up with.
Revolution have really hit the ground running this year with new launch after new launch.
